Irmo Police Chief Bobby Dale has announced the following promotions and transfers.
Sergeant Brett Mielke transferred to the Community Services Division. He joined the Irmo Police Department in June 2014 and previously served in the Patrol Division.
Corporal Charles Black was promoted to Patrol Sergeant. He joined the Irmo Police Department in March 2020.
Corporal David Copley transferred to the Criminal Investigations Division. He joined the Irmo Police Department in December 2019 and previously served in the Patrol Division.
Corporal Kenneth Neivel transferred to Administrative Corporal. He joined the Irmo Police Department in March 2019 and previously served in the Criminal Investigations Division. The Administrative Corporal Position was added to assist the Patrol Division with a number of collateral duties.
Investigator Miranda Payseur was promoted to Senior Investigator as a part of the Irmo Police Department’s longevity program. She joined the Irmo Police Department in November 2018, and previously served in the Patrol Division.
Senior Patrol Officer Justin Pifer was promoted to Corporal within the Patrol Division. He joined the Irmo Police Department in June 2023.
Patrol Officer J.P. Piskura was promoted to Corporal within the Patrol Division. He joined the Irmo Police Department in November 2022.
