CHARLESTON – Local students were among nearly 400 graduates honored during The Citadel Graduate College Class of 2025 commencement ceremony held on May 3.
Students from across South Carolina and beyond gathered to receive their degrees from Gen. Glenn W. Walters, USMC (Ret.), Class of 1979 and President of The Citadel. Top graduate programs included the Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts in Psychology, Master of Science in Project Management, Master of Arts in Intelligence and Security Studies, Master of Science in Leadership, and Master of Education in Literacy Education.
Local graduates from our area include:
- Irmo – Abigail Davol, Travis Kizer, and Morgan Wright
- Columbia – Madison Hege and Jonathan Hogue
The Citadel, known for its military college education, is home to about 2,300 cadets. While military service is not required, approximately one-third of each cadet class chooses to commission into branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.
The Citadel Graduate College, founded more than 50 years ago, continues to provide flexible academic opportunities with a wide range of graduate degrees, graduate certificates, and evening/online undergraduate programs designed to meet the needs of working professionals.
