The Town of Irmo and the Okra Strut Commission awarded two students with scholarships from funds raised by the vegetable festival in 2019.
Trinh Tran (left) graduated from Irmo High and will be attending Clemson University and Andrew Talkish (right) graduated from Dutch Fork and will be attending Tri County Tech for the bridge program to Clemson. Okra Strut Commission Chair Larry Slaughter presented the scholarships as the Irmo Town Council observed.
