The Optimist Club of St. Andrews-Irmo hosted its highly anticipated annual golf tournament on Monday, May 6th, at the Golden Hills Golf Club in Lexington. The event, known for its exciting competitions and charitable endeavors, drew participants and supporters from across the region.
Golf enthusiasts enjoyed a day filled with thrilling activities, including a long drive competition, a hole-in-one contest, and a closest-to-the-pin challenge. These engaging contests added an extra layer of excitement to the tournament, fostering a sense of camaraderie among participants.
The proceeds from the tournament will directly benefit the youth in Irmo, furthering the Optimist Club’s mission of supporting and empowering young individuals in the community.
