The St. Andrews Woman’s Club is helping open doors for young artists this summer, providing full tuition for seven students to attend the Tri-District Arts Consortium (TriDAC).
Founded in 1986, Tri-District Arts Consortium (TriDAC) serves artistically gifted students from Lexington-Richland School District Five, Lexington County School District One, and Richland County School District Two. The three-week summer program offers intensive instruction in disciplines such as dance, theatre, music, creative writing, and visual arts.
Admission to TriDAC is competitive, with students earning placement through auditions. However, program costs can present a challenge for some families.
Thanks to the Woman’s Club’s support, seven students who might not otherwise have been able to attend will now have the opportunity to develop their talents and pursue their artistic passions.
Organizers say the contribution will have a lasting impact, providing not just access to the program, but a meaningful investment in the students’ creative futures.
