Tri-District Arts Consortium Now Accepting Applications for Summer 2025 Program

The Tri-District Arts Consortium (Tri-DAC) is celebrating its 40th anniversary and is now accepting nominations for its 2025 Summer Program. This program is open to middle school students from Lexington One, Lexington-Richland Five, and Richland Two public schools who are artistically gifted and talented.

Program Details:

  • Dates: June 9 – June 27, 2025 (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.)
  • Location: Palmetto Center for the Arts at Richland Northeast High School
  • Cost: $475 for the three-week program

Students entering grades 6 through 9 in the 2025-2026 school year can audition in various areas, including:

  • Creative Writing
  • Dance
  • Music (Strings, Vocal, Wind/Percussion)
  • Theatre
  • Visual Art

How to Nominate:

Teachers, administrators, parents, and arts educators can nominate students. To nominate a student from Lexington-Richland Five, visit this link. Nomination forms and additional information are also available on the Tri-DAC website at tridac.org.

Important Dates:

  • Nomination Deadline: December 6, 2024
  • Auditions:
    • February 1, 2025: Strings, Visual Art, and Vocal
    • March 1, 2025: Band, Creative Writing, Dance, Theatre, and Visual Art

Note: There are no make-up auditions, and space is limited.
