A special ceremony, featuring the public unveiling of the Irmo First Responders Memorial will be held on Tuesday, May 28th at 10:00 a.m. at Irmo Town Park.
The memorial will feature an obelisk and four benches made of granite, symbolizing the virtues of honor, courage, and sacrifice embodied by Irmo’s first responders. Positioned on a paver base, the obelisk will prominently display emblems representing Irmo Fire, Irmo PD, EMS, and the Town of Irmo.
In a poignant tribute, a special plaque commemorating fallen Irmo Fireman James M. Muller will be included in the memorial, ensuring his memory is honored and preserved.
This meaningful tribute will serve as a lasting reminder of the selfless service and unwavering commitment of Irmo’s first responders to the safety and well-being of the community.
