The St. Andrews Woman’s Club recently showed its support for local wildlife conservation efforts by donating funds and needed supplies to the Carolina Wildlife Center. The contributions will help the Center continue its important work caring for injured and orphaned native wildlife throughout the Midlands and surrounding areas.
The St. Andrews Woman’s Club has a long tradition of supporting organizations that make a positive difference in the community, and members were pleased to assist an organization dedicated to protecting and preserving South Carolina’s native wildlife. Members of the St. Andrews Woman’s Club visited the Center to present the donations and learn more about its mission of wildlife rehabilitation and preservation through education.
For more than three decades, the Carolina Wildlife Center has provided care for injured and orphaned wildlife while educating the public about the importance of protecting native species and their habitats. The Center has treated and rehabilitated tens of thousands of animals representing hundreds of species and continues to serve as a valuable resource for wildlife conservation in South Carolina.
