Baynham ready to step up for District Five

I am a retired public school teacher who taught for 35 years. Most of my teaching career was spent as an elementary school music teacher in Aiken County. As a music teacher, I spent at least 5 years with most of my students. So it goes to say that I got to know my students quite well.

Jason Baynham was one my students who, along with his family, I could always count on to be there when I needed him. Jason was a great student and a leader in many ways from a young age. Through the years I have watched him grow into the responsible, hard working, talented, Christian man of integrity and faith that he is now.

My husband and I continue to have a relationship with Jason through his landscaping business. We both enjoy spending time with Jason because we find him to be an inquisitive, lifelong learner who is always searching for ways to better everything he does.

Jason and I have had many conversations over the past years about the state of education in our country. We are all concerned that our students get the best that the system has to offer. He has three beautiful daughters who attend public schools in LexRich 5 and he wants the best for them as well as all of the students in the district.

Jason can always be counted on to be there for his church, his family, his community, his business and the students of LexRich 5. Lexrich5 would be lucky to have someone of Jason’s character serving on their school board. For all of these reasons I proudly endorse Jason Baynham for Lexington-Richland Five School Board.
