The Irmo Chamber of Commerce recently honored Sara Crawford and Precious Bross as the Teacher and Student of the Month, respectively, for their outstanding contributions to Irmo High School.
Sara Crawford, affectionately known as Bear, is a special education teacher at Irmo High School and currently holds the title of Teacher of the Year. Principal Dr. Kaaran Hampton commended Crawford for creating an engaging and enjoyable learning environment for her students, fostering their growth and development. In addition to her role as a special education teacher, Crawford actively contributes to the school community by coaching volleyball and softball. Her commitment and dedication to her students and the school community have earned her recognition as a valuable member of the Yellow Jacket team.
Precious Bross, a senior at Irmo High School, received acclaim as an exemplary student and positive role model for her peers. Principal Hampton described Bross as an outstanding individual who actively participates in various school clubs with enthusiasm and a willingness to assist teachers and fellow students. Bross’s infectious smile and dedication have made her a source of pride for the school community. She is set to graduate and continue her academic journey at the University of Georgia, where she will also contribute to the softball team.
