Fifth grader Anyalis Sifontes Lopez has been recognized as the Lake Murray-Irmo Rotary Student of the Month. Irmo Elementary Principal Shannon Fincannon praised Anyalis for her exceptional character and positive impact on the school community.
“Anyalis is a gentle spirit that stands out in a crowd,” Fincannon shared. “She is empathetic towards her peers and always reflects on how she can be better. Anyalis brightens every space she enters and possesses a kindness and love that can’t be matched. We are excited to honor Anyalis not just as the November student of the month but also as our student of the year.”
