Irmo Police Chief Bobby Dale was honored with his third gold star this week, marking his three-year tenure as the town’s top law enforcement officer. In Irmo, each year served as Chief of Police is recognized with a gold star, and Dale’s latest milestone was celebrated by Irmo Mayor Bill Danielson and Town Administrator Courtney Dennis.
Dale, who has been with the Irmo Police Department since 2003 following a stint with the Columbia Metropolitan Airport Police Department, was sworn in as Chief of Police on August 30, 2021. His leadership and dedication continue to be recognized as he reaches this significant anniversary.
