Mariah Bales, a student at Nursery Road Elementary School, has been recognized as the Lake Murray-Irmo Rotary’s January Student of the Month.
Fifth-grade teacher Jessica Erickson praised Mariah’s character and dedication, saying, “Mariah is a quiet, sweet soul. She is the first to help a student in need and stays with that student until they understand the lesson. She is always thinking of others and is patient as she helps all those around her.”
This recognition highlights Mariah’s kindness and commitment to supporting her peers.
