A shooting occurred at the Jerk Hut Restaurant located on the 1000 block of Zimalcrest Drive in Columbia on Sunday, June 14.
Richland County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to the scene around 3:30 am. and found Ty’shon Vogt, 25 of Irmo, dead from gunshot wounds. Several victims took themselves to a nearby hospital and two victims were transported by EMS for treatment. A total of five victims were shot.
Richland County Coroner’s office identified the body. No cause has been determined for the gun fire.
