Harbison West Elementary Gifted and Talent Development School celebrated a remarkable achievement as six of its Escolares Academy academically gifted students recently earned perfect scores on the SC Ready standardized test. This accomplishment not only highlights the exceptional abilities of these students but also showcases the dedication of the school’s staff in fostering a nurturing and challenging educational environment.
The SC Ready test, which assesses students’ skills in English Language Arts and Mathematics, is a significant milestone for elementary students in South Carolina. Achieving a perfect score is no small feat, requiring not only mastery of the material but also strong test-taking strategies and perseverance.
The seven students, Lincoln Dipietro, Iris Drain, Levi Hay, Priyanshi Jaiswal, Andrew Richardson and Velayudhan Sivarajan, have demonstrated outstanding academic prowess throughout the year. Their rigorous preparation included tailored lessons and engaging activities that encouraged a love for learning and critical thinking.
