On May 11th the Chapin Chamber welcomed Stephen Jerdan, owner of Kingfisher, with the ribbon cutting at their location at 1011 Rauch-Metz road in Irmo.
Stephen is a certified International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) trainer. Inspired by those around him in the United States Coast Guard, Stephen began training years ago, ultimately leaving his position in industrial welding supplies in 2021 to found Kingfisher Strength in his hometown of Irmo, SC. When not lifting, Stephen is most often coaching youth soccer or watching his two sons’ Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu lessons.
Hannah Baghdady is a certified International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) personal trainer and Exercise Science major in the Arnold School of Public Health at the University of South Carolina. With 3+ years of lifting experience, Hannah loves training and encouraging a healthy lifestyle. Her goal is to encourage others to lead an active life, help them feel comfortable in the gym, and set and reach their personal and fitness goals.
