A talented ensemble of musicians participating in ‘Music in My Neighborhood,’ a groundbreaking program by the SC Philharmonic Orchestra, delighted students at Dutch Fork High School on Tuesday, April 9th. This innovative initiative aims to bring a week of free music experiences directly to residents in the Irmo community, fostering a deeper appreciation for the arts.
Prior to the concert, Richland County Councilman Jason Branham had the opportunity to engage with the students, sharing insights and encouragement. His support underscores the importance of music education and community involvement in nurturing young talent and enriching cultural experiences.
As the inaugural program draws to a close, the culmination event will take place at the amphitheater in the Community Park of Irmo on Saturday, April 13th, at 3:00 PM.
