Huddle makes her re-election bid official for District Five School Board

“I have a proven track record of supporting teachers and parents, focusing on academics, eliminating wasteful spending and ensuring our school board is transparent and always acts in the best interest of students. We have more work to do and I’m looking forward to doing that work.”

Those were the words of Lexington-Richland Five School Board Trustee Catherine Huddle as she filed for re-election to her Lexington County seat.

“I’ve worked hard during my first term, and we have accomplished a lot,” said Huddle. “With more reinforcements, we will hit on all cylinders.”

Huddle is a retired software executive with a background in financial management. She is married to her Husband Ed and has two daughters who are District Five graduates, Drs. Kelcy Huddle Alexeev and Lauren Huddle. Huddle has been lauded for her strong record of fiscal accountability and fighting to focus resources on teachers and classroom foundational learning.

The election for school board takes place on November 5th, which includes two seats in Lexington County and one seat in Richland County. Please visit HuddleforD5.com for more information on Huddle’s campaign.
